- For Admission: A student should pass the Higher Secondary Examination (with Science or Commerce Subjects) conducted by the Government of Gujarat; or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Executive Council/MHRD, India, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereof.
- The candidate must have passed the above qualifying examination at a single sitting during the current year. Two per cent will be deducted per attempt if the candidate has passed the examination in parts.
- The candidate must have obtained the following minimum aggregate marks (grand total) at the above qualifying examination.
- For open category candidates 45%
- For reserved category candidates 40%
- The candidate must have passed the above qualifying examination with

[2]any one of the following subjects:
(i) Mathematics
(ii)Physics
(iii)Statistics
(iv)Business Mathematics
(v)Accountancy / Elements of Accounting
Since the medium of instruction is English, the minimum cut-off marks in English for vernacular medium students shall be decided by the Admission Authority.
